Carly's Baptism

Yesterday Carly was baptized.  She turned 8 at the end of April as was very excited for this wonderful event.  Leading up to the day, we discussed the importance of baptism, the parts of the covenant she would be making and did some dry runs for family home evening.  At the service, she looked beautiful in a white dress that Robyn just put the finishing touches on the night before.  Ever the good example, she invited lots of friends from school to come and see and a few were able to make it.  I was able to perform the baptism and her Grampa confirmed her a member of the Church, gave her the Holy Ghost and a wonderful blessing.  It was really a great experience.
