This is the 'man on a park bench' shot

My friend, Natasha, who took our family pictures last fall, came over yesterday to take pictures of Erik. These are my favorites in no particular order. I need 2 vertical pictures to put on my wall and I think maybe the last one and the basket one that is vertical, or maybe the baby foot one, or maybe the concerned close up?? Which pictures are your favorites of Erik? He's such a sweet little guy. I'm pretty sure the light blue cardigan is one Jake wore, and of course those sweet little shoes with bells.

Erik's blessing day

Erik was blessed this past Sunday. I made him some overalls to be blessed in and he wore shoes with little bells on them that Jake wore on his blessing day (Nick and Isaac wore them too). My brother Tim and his family came in from the bay area for the weekend. He was wide eyed all morning and all during the blessing, but didn't make a sound. Right after the blessing, Erik gave me a big smile.

Nick's birthday

Nick decided for his birthday, instead of having a party with his friends from school, he wanted a family party. He wanted all of us to go bowling. We had a great time together with Grandpa Tim, Grandma Lina, Uncle Donnie, Aunt Jenni and cousin Asher! Thanks Nick for wanting some family time. Isaac was surprisingly a very accurate bowler. We would sometimes let him bowl when we had a 2nd turn and he would be able to pick up the spare for us. This happened 3 times for him! Afterwards, we had pizza, cake, and ice cream back at our house. Nick wanted an American flag cake, he's a patriotic guy.
