almost old

tonight as i was reading a book to carly, she gasped when she saw my hand and exclaimed, "MOM! you're almost old!" then pointing to my visible veins she said, "these are coming!" thank you for the reminder Carly.

Not that I need a reminder though, because tonight was Nick's first cub pack meeting and he received his Bobcat. An award where you also get a pin to put on your mother. Nick is really working hard in cub scouts and I am so proud of him.
