Little lady Annelise has surprised me. She seems to be the first to really love coloring. If she finds something to write with she will go over to a drawer in the desk, pull out some paper and start to draw, laying down. She's not really a kid yet, she's still a baby. She's probably been doing it for about a month or two now. The other day we were outside, and she found a crayon and paper outside. (You can find just about anything out there.) She just got down on her tummy and started coloring. It's pretty funny to watch. She can say uh oh and mama, that's about it. One time I've heard her mimic me on saying mooooo. She likes cows. She likes it when we put blankets on her head as though she were Mary.
A couple of other things about the others. About a month ago the training wheels broke on Nick's bike. He never liked riding it anyway, he always rides the trike, and Carly rides her two-wheeler with training wheels. A couple of days ago I asked Nick if he wanted to give the bike a try with no training wheels. I had just bought him a new bigger bike at a garage sale, and I think that got him interested, plus the other boys on the block have bigger bikes. We started out with the small bike, and he really learned how to ride it in like 5 minutes. He can ride all the way across the court. He still has trouble turning and getting started, but he is doing so great.
Carly thinks zuchinnis are called bikinnis. She LOVES to wear high heels and bring her own purse to Sams club. She is a lady with an attitude.
