tonight as i was reading a book to carly, she gasped when she saw my hand and exclaimed, "MOM! you're almost old!" then pointing to my visible veins she said, "these are coming!" thank you for the reminder Carly.
Not that I need a reminder though, because tonight was Nick's first cub pack meeting and he received his Bobcat. An award where you also get a pin to put on your mother. Nick is really working hard in cub scouts and I am so proud of him.

yay for nick!! and what an awesome moment for you, robyn! (the pin part, that is. not so much the vein-notification from carly...)
Congratulations Nick! (And Robyn for being "almost old". Some of us are already there. You need to tell Carly that the vein part is because you don't have an ounce of fat on your body and that's a GOOD thing.
When are you going to post pictures of the parties??? I wanna see them!
