in the kids room we have a dresser, one of those low ones that has 3 drawers on each side. on carly's side however, the middle drawer lost some essential parts, so we've been keeping all of her pants and shirts in her bottom drawer together. for some reason she and nick got the idea to sleep in their drawers tonight. i think nick figured it out first, and was laying in his middle drawer, but jake discovered him and told him it was dangerous. so when i walk into their room tonight, to wake up carly to use the bathroom, nick is in his bed, and carly is in her bottom drawer (on top of all of her pants and shirts) totally asleep. have you guessed the punchline yet? she didn't need to go to the bathroom anymore. she'd already gone in the drawer. lots of laundry to do tomorrow.
and just to add as a fun visual, this is just so carly, she went to bed with a purple feather boa.

shoot! the bottom dresser drawer was our plan for a crib. guess we need to re-evaluate.
She is just so cute!!! One just never knows what will be next.
